Easy to use for painting pupils

I really love the ease of use right out of the bottle. It gives a solid black that stays exactly where you put it. Even when I piped the white dot highlights on the black, the black didn't run or weirdly absorb the white.

Works

I bought this on a whim to use for some portrait cookies. I found that it was a little more thin than I prefer and I had to keep going over the same area to get fully saturated color. My personal preference is using black gel food coloring with alcohol or extract for painting details.

Breanna, thank you for sharing your experience! It will help other decorators out there. If you're looking for a black paint where you can really control the opacity, I recommend going with one of the powder https://www.thecookiecountess.com/products/petal-dust-midnight-black-2-5g or cake palette formulas https://www.thecookiecountess.com/products/art-deco-water-activated-palette and you can mix them with a bit of vodka or lemon juice to get the consistency you need. I hope that helps!

Love this product!

I decided to give this a try for painting on my unicorn lashes. It was fantastic! A little goes a long way. I will definitely be ordering more colors!
