christmas tree 3pc set

A Christmas Tree for 3...

3 cookies that is! We love the BIG impact this tree design has with it's simple design. We used 3 different greens on this tree. All greens started with Gourmet Green, then we added a bit of Succulent Green to achieve the middle color. And finally added Forest Green for the darkest color. The Poinsettias were made ahead of time using techniques shown in this tutorial. And of course some edible glitter! Who can resist a bit of shine?! All products used are linked below. Happy baking!

Christmas Wreath

So festive!

The different shades of green really add to the depth and dimension of this wreath. We used the same variations of green that we did in the tree above. The pops of red berries are the icing on the.. cookie. Using a turntable of this design was a life saver! If you would like to copy our bow design, we have a downloadable icing transfer sheer here!

Make them shine!

We can't resist the delightfully simple design of a Christmas light. Use any colors you want! We have listed the colors we used below. For the navy we combined True Blue and Black. The sanding sugar and the silver paint really add a pop to these cookies.

Intricate Ornament Tutorial

Simple but beautiful...

Sometimes the simplest designs can be the prettiest. Wet-on-wet is a great way to add detail, and speed up the decorating process since there's no waiting for icing to dry involved. For the maroon color, I started with a base of red and added a bit of brown, and a touch of black.
