Frequently Asked Questions:
-
How many cookies does one palette cover?
One palette has enough paint to color 1-2 cookies. However, we recommend giving each painter their own palette and brush, because kids like to have their own. Please note this depends on how much paint is used, and on the size of the cookie.
-
The color is much darker on the palette than I expected. Did I get the wrong palettes?
Probably not! The swatches of color are very concentrated and dark when dry, and when they are activated with water, they will be much lighter and brighter.
-
Are these palettes printed on edible paper?
Although the paper is food safe, it is not edible.
-
Can these palettes be packed in the same bags as my cookies?
Palettes should be not be packed in direct contact with cookies, due to the possibility that moisture from the cookies can activate the paint on the palettes and cause smudging. It is preferable to bag the palette/brush separately and then insert that bag behind the cookie.
-
What bag works best for packing palettes?
Our 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" lip and tape bags are the perfect size to pack one palette and one brush.
-
Is it possible to order custom palettes?
Unfortunately, no. We have to order these palettes in such large quantities, it would be impossible to create a custom color scheme.
